"I don't just dance to music—I dance to my dreams. And this is only the beginning of my story."
— Pratistha Awasthi, Meerut
My name is Pratistha Awasthi, and I am 12 years old. Dance is not just my passion—it is the heartbeat of my life. Ever since I was a little girl, I have found happiness in every beat of the music. While others saw dance as an activity, I saw it as my dream.
My mother was the first person who believed in me. She encouraged me to dance, supported me through every step, and gave me the confidence to chase my dreams. Her faith in me became my biggest strength.
Mother's Unwavering Faith
Pratistha credits her mother as her greatest pillar. Her encouragement turned self-guided practice into stage-ready confidence and determination.
I am a self-trained dancer. I did not let the lack of professional training stop me. I learned by watching performances, practicing for hours, correcting my mistakes, and never giving up. There were days when I felt tired, but my love for dance always pushed me to keep going.
One of the most unforgettable moments of my journey was being selected for India's Talent Fight. It was more than just a selection—it was proof that hard work, passion, and dedication always shine. The moment I heard my name, I felt proud, grateful, and even more determined to give my best.
For me, dance is not just about winning competitions or standing on a stage. It is about expressing my emotions, telling stories without words, and inspiring others to believe in their own dreams.
