Dashmesh Gatka Team

Gurwinder Singh is a passionate Gatka artist and the founder of the International Dashmesh Gatka Team, based in Ferozepur, Punjab. Dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich Sikh martial art of Gatka and the traditional knowledge of Shastar Vidya, Gurwinder Singh has worked tirelessly to build a skilled and respected team representing discipline, courage, unity, and Sikh heritage.

The team’s journey began six years ago with limited resources and only a few traditional weapons. Under dedicated training, the members practiced with determination. The team was named “Dashmesh Gatka Team” in honor of Tenth Sikh Guru Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji (Dashmesh Pita), whose legacy embodies martial excellence and bravery.

The team achieved 1st place in international Gatka competitions, earning global recognition as the International Dashmesh Gatka Team. Key contributors include Amninder Singh, Sukhwinder Singh, Taranbir Singh, Sahibdeep Singh, Samardeep Singh, Jora Singh, and dedicated Singhs of the team.

Today, performing on India’s Talent Fight TV Reality Show, the team showcases the power, discipline, and cultural pride of traditional Sikh martial arts before millions across India and around the world.
